Right Now, This Moment is a FRESH START

Fresh Start

ANNOUNCEMENT!  GOOD NEWS!

Right Now, THIS MOMENT, is a FRESH START!

YES IT IS!!!!

Had a “bad” morning?  Lots of traffic?  Had a “bad” day yesterday?  Guess what… this moment, this second, right now, you can move forward.

What happened before this exact second is done, gone… you can’t go back, you can’t change it.  BUT, you CAN move forward with a new thought, new attitude, new direction, new choice, new path, new _______________ (FILL IN THE BLANK).

I didn’t learn that… I grew up in a Catholic / Jewish home.  I learned guilt, oy-vey, and how to repeat, retell, retell and retell some more.

I’ve learned our behavior is learned — learning to “beat yourself up” over a circumstance, disagreement, “bad” (we label that by the way – more on labeling tomorrow!) choice or some other error… (etc.) is really self-defeating and unproductive.

We are a product of our learned behavior.  If it does not make you feel good, stop retelling.

We are not born with self-awareness, we learn it.  As I have written these past few days, try to not let the negative voices tell you stories.  When you hear them, STOP.

Remember that this moment is a FRESH START.  Make today, what is happening right now, your focus.

I believe that it’s time to enjoy your life.

I believe that it is TIME to Play <3

Love,

Doreen Guma
