ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Laurie Ann Davis is a mom, acting teacher, actor and author who lives in N.Y. with her 14 year old son Saverio and their dog Puppsie. She teaches acting and music to children daily and writes plays, poetry, songs and is the co-author of “Finally..Monologues That Work.” This is Ms. Davis’s first children’s book. The experience of going through a difficult divorce left her son feeling stuck in the middle. He described it as a “Storm of Colors.” Those words were then turned into a book along with the amazing art work of a young man named Ryan Patterson who is a sophomore in college (did the art work at the age of 15) and lives in N.Y. Ryan plans on becoming a professional artist and is a talented musician. It is the authors hope that Storm of Colors will help other children feel that they are not alone and the goal is to implement Storm into our family court and school systems.
