Happy Winter! Here’s a quick update on the Enjoy Life Community Project.
What IS the Enjoy Life Community Project’s goal? • The purpose of the Enjoy Life Community Program is to help connect people to the resources that will help them live a better, more enjoyable life. • The Enjoy Life group will provide a centralized location (both online and off) to inform people of all the good work and great resources that are currently in our community. • The Enjoy Life Community will NOT focus on problems, but will proactively embrace what our community needs to enjoy life.
What is the MISSION and PURPOSE of the Enjoy Life Community? To facilitate cooperation and collaboration between community organizations and residents. Purpose: To serve as a cohesive umbrella organization that facilitates positive changes in a community and encourage every member in the community to be proactive in enjoying one’s own life and supporting others in doing the same.
At this time we are contacting community organizations to not only learn more about each one, not only find opportunities to spread the word of the good works they are doing, but to encourage increased community participation. There are a lot of people who live in our community – almost 30,000, and so many who need what you provide. We look forward to working together to motivate people and to create a better life here in the Port Jefferson Station / Terryville community.

Godere. Disfutar. Gozatu…what does it mean? Enjoy.
But enjoying life for some is as elusive as understanding a foreign language.
How do you get greater enjoyment from life? We think connecting with our neighbors, is key.

In addition to serving as a community link and providing awareness through its Enjoy Life Community Project, the Foundation is planning its second annual BExtraordinary® Fashion Show, to benefit Special Olympics, New York, and it takes place right here at home.
Join the fun, this April 16, center court at Smith Haven Mall Lake Grove. For more information on volunteering, exhibiting, or participating, please call 631-331-2675 or visit BExtraordinary Fashion Show where you can find out more information and watch the incredible and inspirational video from last year’s event. The mall was chosen as the place to hold this event as it attracts over 12 million visitors a year.
“Enjoyable, Inspirational and empowering” is what people were saying.
This year promises the same: a win-win event we are tremendously proud of. It is an unequaled opportunity to practice what we believe, that a connected community is a healthy community. Partnering with Special Olympics provides opportunities for your company or organization to spread its message to thousands of athletes, coaches, volunteers and families.
At the same time, your company/ organization will be supporting the 64,659 (2013 census) athletes and all the people involved in the Special Olympics New York movement. Call the Enjoy Life Community Project at 275-5912 cell or 331-2675 office for information on how you can participate.

Old-school demographics are not good enough in today’s high-tech, mobile, personalized marketplace. Buyer personas need to reflect the customers’ interests, passions, and lifestyles in order to deliver information that will capture their attention.
